Eindhoven City has invited me to Emoves Festival to attend and to explore the city of Eindhoven.
Emoves Festival is an Urban Culture Festival which places every year find jobs. Young talent and (inter) national professionals get here the chance to prove himself. The festival is dedicated to music, dance, art and sport. Throughout Eindhoven there are competitions, concerts, shows and seminars. Overall a weekend full of fun.
Eindhoven City had a select group of influencers two-three fun days organized to get acquainted with the city of Eindhoven and the festival. I’ll tell you more happy about and will give equal tips for the best hotspots, hotels and restaurants.
After a two flights and very tired trip, well arrived on Saturday night at the The Student Hotel Eindhoven , It is located close to the station and is almost in the center. What a lovely hotel this is, you should check it !
On Sunday we started with a delicious lunch at Valenzia Restaurant . Here we got delicious tapas. Then we went with them all to the Bear Pit . There were 150 graffiti artists present to show their work. Was really cool to see. Then we went to Strijp-S (creative and cultural heart of Eindhoven), among others, a food festival was busy, can shop at Uran Shopper (small-scale initiatives in the fields of fashion, design, vintage and interior), and it seemed like we were on the beach. To end we went with them all at The Student Hotel for drinks and snacks.
Afterwards, we headed back to the arena for the World Bboy Classic. For those who aren’t familiar, a bboy is a breakdancer. In this battle, the Bboys were teamed up into groups of two and it was paired off in a series of knock out rounds until one team was left standing. I’ve never seen a battle so intense. I’m sure that you would love it even if you aren’t a fan of urban culture.
I really had a very nice weekend. Eindhoven my surprise in a good way.
But I’m definitely going again come back. Very nice city where you can do a lot.
And have you ever been in Eindhoven? What did you think of the city?
